Madison and Gracie's Birthday

Madison and Gracie are very happy after just opening all there gifts! We let balloons go up to Austin every year. This year there cousin Mogan is helping!

Happy Birthday Austin!

Gracie and Madison love to watch the ballons fly up to Austin and they will watch until they can't see the ballons anymore, then they know Austin grabbed them.

Gracie and Madison's Winter Program

Geocaching

This is Tia and I finding a Geocache together. We had a hard time finding this one, but we stuck it out in the heat. This one was on Lindsay and Baseline next to the canal. Tia loves doing these and i'm glad she takes me along!

Frankie 's sleeping on the job

His name is Frankie, I adopted him from Petsmart on 10/17/08. He is around 1-2 years old and he loves attention! This is him sleeping on the job. He likes to stay close, so he layed on the computer desk just in front of me.

1st FILL

I had my first lap band fill today and it hurt! The Dr had her nurse do my fill but she couldn't find my sweet spot. So she injected Lidocaine and stuck in a bigger, longer needle. She still had trouble so Dr had to come in and she found it with no problem. They injected 2ml in my 10ml band.

My Weight Loss Journey

August 22, 2008 my Mom and I drove to San Diego, California into Tijuana, Mexico. I stayed at Hospital Angeles Hospital for 2 nights for my Lap Band surgery. Once we arrived to the Hospital it looked like we were still in the US. The only issue was the language barrier. I went through a US company called Be Lite Weight http://www.beliteweight.com/ who set up the whole surgery and transportation thru Mexico. Surgery to me was very painful cause this was the first surgery i had ever had, but I am so happy to have done this!
