August 22, 2008 my Mom and I drove to San Diego, California into Tijuana, Mexico. I stayed at Hospital Angeles Hospital for 2 nights for my Lap Band surgery. Once we arrived to the Hospital it looked like we were still in the US. The only issue was the language barrier. I went through a US company called Be Lite Weight http://www.beliteweight.com/ who set up the whole surgery and transportation thru Mexico. Surgery to me was very painful cause this was the first surgery i had ever had, but I am so happy to have done this!
